1905 Bombay Electric Supply & Tramways Co. Ltd. was formed. B.E.S.T. CO. Acquired from British Electric Traction Co. A Power House with 1100 HP generator & 107 consumers.
   
1907 Steam power generation started at Wari Bunder (4300 KW).
   
1912 Kussara generating station commissioned.
   
1916 Purchase of power from TATA's began.
   
1925 Generation discontinued.
   
1931 Remote control of D.C. Substations began.
   
1947 Management taken over by B.M.C.
   
1949 First 22 KV. receiving station commissioned at Apollo and Grand Road.
